This website feels somewhat overdue.

Button badge with the word ‘USEFUL’ written on it – what would be useful resources for you?

It was November 2018 when I took on my first freelance role, working for what was then Action on Hearing Loss and is now (again) RNID.

The truth is that I’ve been fortunate to have been able to help lots of organisations, large and small, to do better fundraising in the intervening period and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it.

But, it doesn’t feel quite right not to have some kind of web presence, even if it is just a place for people to find me and connect.

I hope some potential clients do find me this way, but if I am to spend some time developing the site, I would quite like charities to find something of value here that they can take away with them.

So, I’m going to add a RESOURCES tab and I’m going to add blog links, thought pieces, reports, interesting sector initiatives, the odd policy or link to guidance and anything else which might be useful to time-pressed fundraisers.

I’ll need to think about how to categorise it so that it can be referenced, rather than just a mass of links, like the online equivalent of the kitchen utensils draw!

But while I’m working on this, perhaps you’d like to drop me a line with an idea of the sort of resources you might like to see to help you in your work?

Check back soon and see what you think…
